I give an 11 out of 10.
Sent off my 5-6 year old triple tails with one shattered lense for lense replacements. I got the email for the 79$ replacement of both which I also expected. I told them to proceed and provided my card number.
I got them in the mail friday afternoon and was pleasantly suprised by a BRAND NEW pair in a new box with case and all.

I've heard that Costa has excellent customer service.
I only wear cheap sunglasses. When they break Wally World gives me another pair for $5. I don't get a case though.

If you ever put a pair of Costa's or Maui's or the like on you will see what you been missing. no exagerating, its like night and day when on the water....you can see deeper down and everything is so crisp and clear. Way less eye fatigue after a long day in the outdoors too.

i used to be a cheap sunglasses (foster grant fishing glasses) person until i got to be about 30, then my eyes would itch & burn at night. went to the doc and he said get good glasses, they are cheaper than doc visits down the line. i used to wear Bucci's in the 80's(miami vice days) and went to ocean waves in the 90's, switched to costa's in 01. i am outside all day , all year, in florida. i like the brines with the amber lenses. i have had about 4 pair and no matter what i do to them, they replace for $75. i have ran over them with the bush hog, trencher, truck. sat on them ,etc.
i also have friends who rave about the maui jims..

I have sent my costa's back twice due to the rubber wearing off the ear pieces. Both times they sent me back new glasses.
I have had them on while fishing with my buddies and I have to tell them where to cast because I am the only one who can see the fish. One wears Walmart specials and the other wears Ray Bans. I can see so much deeper with them on.

You must have fathoms...its a common problem. Thats why I went to trippletails.
I have to do the same thing when fishing. Most of my buddys have them but the few that dont..cant remember how many times I said "he is right there! Cast!" Where??? "here, put these on first" :nice:

You are right they are Fathoms. They have a design flaw but I love them anyway. I actually have two. One with the blue/gray lenses and the other amber. Depending on conditions I switch them up.

I've been looking at Costas for along time. I can'yt find a single frame that I like, either they are too tight(we pick on guys whos face squishes out around thier costas), or they feel like they weigh 10 pounds. I had a pir of Hobies last year that my daughter lost, I really liked them, but they were not the best quality

Spare the Ttails work for me and I have a huge noggin...7&5/8" to be exact. For about a week they feel a little "loose" but they form to me after that.
