Scheduling a vasectomy without consulting your wife.

Unless this would be a "happy surprise present" that you already know FOR SURE that she would like....

You may end up with more cut off down there than you wanted...

You keep your guns locked and the keys away from your wife?

I know, sometimes its better to ask for forgiveness than permission, but this COULD be a "killer".

Again, depends on the situation with the wife and if she has any glimpse of a chance of wanting another child....from you.

OK, that's my thoughts....

I wonder how often it is done, and then the wife gets pregnant...

Well, I would hope you would not consult with my wife about it. I can't see why you'd need to? :hide:

Now "that's" gotta be a subject for discussion...lol:hide:

As to the original discussion, I think for a marriage to succeed you have to be honest with your partner. So living a lie like that would be very hazardous to one's marriage IMHO.:head:

i got one about 12 years ago and after the procedure, the doc told my wife and myself we would need to use "protection" for the first 4 or 5 times to be safe
i said " Great, it'll be a year before we can relax."

:haha:

Don't forget to get it checked. A friends of mine's wife got pregnant 10 years after the op. Sometimes they tubes "reconnect", and yes it was his...

When he first told me his wife was pregnant, I was speechless...

Mrs. Blue just had it done. She was in for something else so while they were in there they took care of that too.

I'm still firing live rounds....full metal jacket. LOL

So my question is - can those tubes reconnect too? I sure hope not!!!!!!!!!! That would NOT be good!!! :oh:

Not a problem since I am "borrowing it" myself :)

It seems like it would be a very nice place to visit...

It is some nice realestate. A little hill right at the bottom of a nice valley. I wonder if it is already under contract or accepting bids? Either way I'd like to snag the landscaping contract on it. That is one lawn I would not mind mowing two/three times a week.
