Up for sale is an enclosure for a V20. When I purchased the V21 from Ozzie I had hoped I would be able to use the enclosure on the V21 but with the amount that the canvas guys want to charge me its cheaper to get a whole new top made. The only thing that you would need to supply is the bimini frame, I am keeping the frame that came with it. The top is in great shape, windows are clear and will suit its new owner well.

Now, the price. I need to get $650 out of the enclosure. If that's not doable I have to keep it. The reason being is the quotes that I have received are with and without using the current bimini top. If I don't keep the top the new bimini with the zippers is $600 plus tax (total of $642, so you can have it for 642!). Hence the 650 price. The new top is going to be over 2,000 with keeping my bimini so the 650 price for a full set-up I think (hope) is a steal for someone. Willing to ship as well.

Thanks. I have an 84 and I am pretty sure the gunnels and windshield will be about as different as you are experiencing. Damn.

Good luck on the sale.

I don't think they are, the v21 is a rounded windshield, the v20's I think are all the same.

I think it will fit my 77. I'd like ta see some pictures of it if ya have any. Is it a full enclosure with eisen glass above the windshield and a back drop or just a bimini top? My top is old and not tall enough for me. I'm 6 ft.tall and bump my head on mine. Post us up some pics.

Pics are going to be a while, the boat is covered with snow right now, no way to put up the enclosure for pics. The drifts on the side of the boat are about 6' high.... Is it spring yet?

does the rear wall comedown to the floor or does it slant back to the transom.

does the rear wall comedown to the floor or does it slant back to the transom.

Comes down to the floor about two feet wide in center...on each side it's cut out from floor, up about 18" where it snapped on to tops of seat-boxes..those cut-outs could be easily filled in by a top-shop, or if you're handy, you can do it...that's a good price he's asking for it compared to what I paid for it new...WHEW!!...

Thanks for helping out Ozzie! I appreciate it! Sorry I didn't see this until now!

Yes, it is still for sale, I was just about to uncover the boat to start my spring prep, looked beautiful outside, sunny, mid 50's.....got all my stuff together to go out and its raining. I can't win!

I bought a factory enclosure that came off Franco's '83 V20 and it snapped right up to my 1975. Reversing that logic, I'd say a top coming from a mid 70's model would snap right up to a mid-eighties even if there are subtle differences such as higher floor due to self bailing............

Using it on my mid-90's V21 now. Had to add snaps to the side windows to accomodate the curved window frames on the V21 but that's about it besides some snaps on the gunnels.

After looking at Ozzie's pictures and ignoring all the canvas guys telling me that it won't fit I just played with her for a little bit. I got it to within an inch or so of snapping! WOOHOO! Going to close the ad until I can figure out if I can adjust it down a little more, where there's a will there's a way!

Can you cut off the bottom of the main bow to get it down...or lower the mounts where they attach to the inside liner?...make sure before though, yer not giving up any needed headroom...I don't wanna be duckin' around when I come up to drink...I mean fish w/ya!!!...LOL!!

Keep in mind in cold weather it will fit tighter. Factor in 70 + degrees and you just might be able to snap it.

When we striper fishing in the winter we stow the enclosure in the warm truck so we wouldn't have so much trouble getting the it on.

I think I can cut some off but before that I want to disconnect the mount and see if I can put it lower first, or at least dry fit it. Its weird, you would have thought the prior owner would have taken better care in mounting it...LOL.

I will make sure there's no ducking, at least for me. You are still a little taller then I am if memory serves...we will just cut a hole in the top for ya! You really going to come up??? Try some of my northern bbq? Would be happy to have ya!

Unfortunately no matter what I tried it won't fit. I lowered the sides and all but the window shape did me in. So, its back up for sale. I can take pic's of the enclosure. Let me know if you are interested!
