We're gettin our first snow of the season right now. Its 34 degrees so it aint sticking too much, but looks good falling. We usually don't get snow till after the new year. Heard you northern guys got hammered. Post up some pics if you have any.

If I recall we had a couple of good snows before christmas last year which was unusual...will see what this year has in store but other than cold this weekend and into next nothing so far.

I'm not far from RW, and we got a few flakes the other day...then it turned into a really bad rainstorm. But that's it. No snow so far this year. (And I've done all I can to keep it away..... I've put fresh fuel in both of my snowblowers, started them and made sure they were running, put out (2) 5 gal buckets with ice melt in them for quick access, moved the snowshovels to the front of the storage shed and checked the back up generator in case we loose power during a snowstorm.) Yep...I'm ready, which is a sure way to keep the snow away.!!! :hide:

destroyer, works exactly the same with hurricanes. do your prep work and she takes a 90 degree turn, if you figure it'll go somewhere else and do very little, it'll beeline for your driveway.

You have two because your wife gets to use one and the other goes to your teenage son. God... do us Yankees have to teach you Johnny Rebs everything??? :hide:

I hear ya on WHO uses them, but us boys from the "southern coasts don't see much snow so that thingyyy you call a snow blower dont register with us. So I guess if we ever need one here I'll just hire me a Yankee to use his at my house.:sun::beer:

Chincoteaguer, I used to keep my boat and trailer at Eddie Tuill's campground for 11 years. I really miss Chincoteague. Got tired of winterizing my boats. 10' of snow or fishing in February. Let's see, what'll I pick? I'll take Florida.
