Guys, this damm little dog stole our hearts years ago and I had to make the decision to put her down yesterday...I cried...several times...cancer at stomach/intestinal valve, so she would have starved to death if not dealt with...sad times around the Reel-Estate...haven't seen my wife this upset in long time...

She weighed only 11 lbs...that was 5.5 lbs of heart and 5.5 lbs of guts..she would attack any size varmit encountered, but loved people...much like most Jack Russells...now lies in the glenn beside her grandmother and her father and all the other critters passed away in the 22 years we've been here... she will be missed.

so sorry to hear that REEL...she has moved on to greener pastures where dogs don't get old or hurt, the temperature is always perfect and the bowl is always full.

Reel, I am sorry for the loss. I can testify that that dog was full of spunk.
I got two mix breed dogs that are getting old. One is a complete PITA and the other was trained by the first, I wouldn't change a thing. I feel your pain. Hang in there.

Reel... sorry for your loss bro.. I had to put my dog down a few years back and I still miss her. I know how you're feeling. Nothing I can say to make it any better, except maybe try to remember tall the good times you guys had together... If there's a heaven for dogs, I'm sure she's there now waiting for you.

Thanks Franco and all...The Pubah got to witness 1st hand what a Hammer-Head she was...my girls and I watched her being born in a cardboard box in the living room about 9 years ago...popped thru the birth-canal SNARLIN'...but sweet as could be and loved by all...

Thanks again, Guys...

I understand your loss and I'm really sorry Oz. About 4 years ago I lost my loyal companion of 11 years, an 125lb Akita. Then about a year ago, my daughter's Lhasa Apso, which I had already revived once after performing CPR and Mouth To Snout Resuscitation. We've loved them all.

:clap:Mouth to Snout Resucitation..haven't had to, but would in a heartbeat to save one of my dogs...like my youngest daughter said...the reason people live longer than dogs...is so there'll be somebody to always take care of them...

OMG, so sorry to hear that Oz. She reminds me of a smaller version of my dog that is about to celebrate her 4th bday in a couple months. Time sure flies for our furry friends.

My 14 y.o. cat Little Girl has a swollen cheek. Just noticed yesterday. I'm wondering if she got bit by a spider or has an abcess in one of her teeth or something. I sure hope it isn't serious. I had to have a cat put down a few years ago half her age which had a tumor on her face. Broke my heart into little pieces.

Little Girl is going to the vet first thing tomorrow morning.
