That guy has a bunch of metal crap bolted on the transom. :-[

You see, I learn so much reading the posts. I was thinking, "wow thats a nice boat". I didnt think to look for metal on the transom. Obviously a sign that the transom could need work.

You will find that there will be lots of boats out there tht need new transoms!!

Not the end of the world, but you want to pay a price that has this covered!

Transoms have been done here serveal ways, Skools I guess is the best we have in that department having done a few.

There have been total strip down and redo, there has been at least one that used Seacast, He hasn't been around forever, I wish he was I like to know how it worked out for the long run?
There have been people using core material.

Then there are people like me that have converted from I/O or Seadrive and had to fix just small holes.

i think hammer was referring to the sweat equity you gonna have to put into this boat to replace that transom :)
