Hard to see?? Looks more like a Jack Plate or something?

No Jackplate and it's cut down to 20" in center, as my 87' is. The mark almost looks like where a tie down strap may have been, but not quite. I'd have to see a better pic of the transom before I went to lool at it.

Wow, from the first pics I had no idea it was a baitwell pump? Here ya go Hammer. I'd say now that the boat would be worth a serious look.

If those screw holes were sealed I'd bet that transom is just fine.
