First Fall Bass

10-10-2010 --- 27 pounds. Straight out Manasquan Inlet past the red can to 80 ft. On a A27 w/ green tail. Went deep to get away from "relentless" small weakfish. Managed one decent weakie out of 100! Loads of sand eels out there. Gonna be a great fall!

Looks like a good start. Nice job.....I was out yesterday too up in my neighborhood and was striperless. Fortunately had some clams so did some bottom fishing to save the day....didnt seem that many people up my way had luck from what people were saying back in the marina while pulling out.

Good to know they are out there...got to start hitting em....you cant catch them if your not fishing.
