You need to focus on getting those trains running buddy...you boys have been ALL OVER the news this week. If your train is not running do you still have to report to work?

we still have to report. if there's nothing leaving our home terminal we have to report there and contact supervision. it was pretty ugly last week but when the railroad goes in the sh!tter, everybody makes money. i'm off thursday and friday and i used a few sick days so i'll go back to work on wednsday. this mess is gonna take weeks to clear up.

Tunaman hat is a sweet setup. I can see you riding around in that with a huge smile on your face. [J/k about the smile.] If the motor has only 30 hrs on it that is a deal! Have you checked the price of a new motor lately? :head:

pink, i'm not even gonna give it serious consideration until its been for sale for a while. this guy thinks he's sitting on a goldmine. i took a stroll over to boats.com and you gotta see some of the prices these lunatics are slapping on Vs. 4 grand, 5 grand, 6 grand..... 8 grand? they're outta their phukking minds.
i'll start looking seriously after the season. gotta be something out there i can afford.

CTT, you know that the best prices will be in late Oct-Dec when ppl don't use their boat anymore and don't want to pay to store it etc.

Right now is the heart of the boating season and prices will be thru the roof.. idiots think that their boat is made of gold, not glass...

Hang in there..

V's can be had pretty cheap. Wish I could say the same for outboards. That is where all the money is. You can't even get a set of old arse worn out controls for less than a bill fitty. I looked at some on fleabay and craig's for dad's 88 model 40 hp. But I will say if you aren't in a hurry that is the best way to find a deal. Gotta be quick when it shows itself though.
