yea...Craigslist and ebay are the way to go. If you have the patience you can find exactly what you are looking for at a good price and not too far away usually. Keep looking everyday...go on ebay and sort by "distance" and just keep looking.

If you can hold out until this winter, new seats seem to get pretty cheap on EBay.

I bought the Todd 1000 Cape Cod seats on eBay about a year or so ago. At the time eBay was way cheaper than anybody else. Jamestown Distributors price was nearly double then....but I checked it out now and Jamestown is even cheaper than what I paid.

This is a super deal on Todd 1000 seats with cushions for $100 per set. Normally (every other place online) the cusions alone run $100. I already had pedistals and slides so I didn't have to buy those. So far I love my new seats.

Check it out. Here is the link:

those Craigslist seats look like a good deal--all you need is the pedestal. The brand new Todds are also a great deal, but would need pedestal, slider, spider, which would probably get you into the $200 per seat range.
