Went out today 30 miles with my buddy that bought my SEARAY feeshin, AND WE GOT SKUNKED BAD! We traveled out 30 miles to the spot and were there all of 10 minutes at one of my holes and a lovely boat with 5 free divers ran up on us and got out and killed the fishin dead as a door nail for us >:(. The wonderful guys of this site http://www.bluewatersensations.com/ came up on us as soon as we dropped anchor, such courtesy by them I thought NOT!!!! We at least had a SUPER calm day to go out, you couldn't ask for flatter water than what we had. After 2 hours of unproductive fishing, we donned our dive gear and went down(underwater pics will follow once the camera gets developed). Seen 3 BIG ***FISH, and large amounts of MANGROVE SNAPPER and CUDAS. Crappy day for fishing, but ended up being a good day overall. Got to spend some time with my nephews anyways.

You know, that happening more and more around here, spear fisherman pulling up to a spot were people are already fishing and them jumping in >:( Nothing really against them, if they were there 1st, I would move on, and I would expect them to do the same.
next time it happens, just start chucking up your baits into a nice slick, then start shark fishing 8) That auta get em movin ;D

What kind of jack is that you're holding.....dude get your terminology straight, you can't get "skunked" if you actually catch fish! On my boat even bait fish count ;D
Good report even if you didn't slay em....

I believe it is a banded rudderfish, but not certain. We were actually hoping to get some MANGROVE SNAPPER or GROUPER. The biggest GROUPER was 19 1/2"(22" min.) and not the first SNAPPER, just junkfish. When we went for our dive the fish were way beyond flighty, even the 500lb ***FISH was runnin from us. It's not like there isn't other spots to fish in the ocean. But when your anchored and another boat runs up on you and starts at your marker jug, that's pretty $hitty. And to do that to somebody to go down and shoot some BARRACUDA, that seems even worse to me.

Get some large wieghted treble hooks and start snag fishing. I've heard that divers pull reely good ;D, especially when they have a treble hook embeded in their butt.

I was looking for some cherry bombs, believe me I was. It's not like there isn't other places to go and dive. Why do you have to anchor less than 100 feet away from somebody who has been at that spot before you.

Theferm,
It's just like when we are drift fishing for fluke up here. There is a whole dang ocean and some retards insist they must drive by you (50 yards or so) at WOT. Some folks have no brains whatsoever and are truly rude beyond belief. >:( >:( >:(
