just wanted to share my new find with this well craft community, its a 77 Airslot 165 Fisherman, with a 115hp Merc power trim and tilt. took it out last week, the trim is going to take me a while to figure out. took it out to the mouth of the C&D canal last week and nearly caught 100 crabs, only had about a dozen keepers, but its about having fun right?

i've been trying to find pictures of someone else's airslot fisherman but havent found a single one. is it that rare of a boat?

what do ya'll think of it?

That particular model is a bit more rare than some of the other Airslots. Also one of my favorites. Nice find:clap: and welcome. :hi:

Sweet looking boat. I love the airslot design, and that one is just the right size for rivers and lakes. What is that, an 84 Merc hanging on the back? Inline 6 engines are awesome. Nice boat all around...welcome to the site:clap:

no twins, but the previous owner had a 7.5 merc kicker mounted on the transom, it was a very nice set up he had, with the stearing bar and controls...

the 7.5 should of came with the sale..... So the guy who owned the boat was in his 80's and passed away, his son got it (didnt want it, didnt have room to store it) so for about a year it bounced around to diifferent friends houses, then one buddy told him, "you can keep it in my yard for free, but i want to take the 7.5 merc off to use for my jon boat".....

so thats why it has dual controls.... it is a 77 merc 115, original engine on the boat.
