ok looked close at the pics blown up front bow rail cut out in front the motor is a 1987 small bore looper and the cabin door has louvers which means it's a 1978 to 1980 or 81 i think. plus rub rail is to old for 87 that is a 1978 i think with raised transom. the bow rail is a 1978 just noticed the bent rail at the back of the rail. she's a 78 boyz with 87 motor

I think that transom was replaced.
It does not look like the transom on mine or
the transom on the 1978 brochure picture.

Spoke to the owner, its a 1978. Transom was replaced for $1100.00 . Floor solid, all guages works.

Isn't '78 the year of the 46 gal fuel tank?...if I's fixin' to buy one, I believe a 60 gal tank would be on the wish-list ;) ...

If you got a motor that gets 5mpg, 46 gal is a plenty.
;D

yeah my 78 has a 50 gal with 46 useable in the belly but has a 28 gal with 25 useable added right in front of the tank. so you can put up to 75 gallons of fuel in a 1978 up boat just add a tank under the floor.
