I almost forgot, every year on the 4th of July NC let residents and non residents fish without a license. Just their way of showing "Southern Hospitality"

Hey Blue maybe it will catch on with these "Northerners" we talk to on the site.

Well, in New Jersey we don't need a license to go fishing (yet). So ya'll just haul yer boats up here and fish to your hearts content.

(Ummm.. we ARE talking about salt water, ....right? I mean.... really.... is there any other kind?) :head:

Hey D

Where I live I can fish off my dock and catch fresh and saltwater.

We have brackish water and both can live in it.

Just change baits to go from saltwater to freshwater and when they are hungry they don't care what kind of bait you have on.

Why sometime I throw a line in with no hook because they wont leave me alone long enough to catch a nap or drink a adult beverage while I'm out there on the pier.

We catch Stripers in brackish waters all the time up here. And it's still free. For this year anyways. :cen:
