i'll be looking at something with close to 100,000 miles. i'm guessing in the 2002 to 2005 range. i dont really care for the ram but they are cheap as sh!t. what would you do?

Not everyone is a diesel fan but at 100,000 a diesel dodge still has a crap load of life left in it. Does cost more though.

I'm on my second one but my first is still in the family at like 300,000.

For the 100K mile+ club, I would look hard at a chevy with a 5.3L in it. The newer VORTEC's from GM are some rock solid long lasting engines, and there trans are good too. Nothing against the others, but GM would get my vote in a half ton.

CHEVY all day long . If you want power from a 1/2 ton chevy is the way to go. I'm a mechanic and in my opinion it will be the best out there . Don't buy a dodge there trans don't hold up unless you get the diesel. If don't get the chevy then go ford they are the next best in my opinion.

hey blockhead, clam up. if i had your disposable income, this would be a different situation. i had to finnish paying off my wifes car before i could move on this. besides, it would seem there are alot of good trucks up in massachusetts, so if you're not nice to me, i wont let you take me fishing and then to dinner. b!tch.
