I took the plunge I bought the V-17 tonight, I'll be picking it up Wednesday night, the scoop it's 1975 V-17 Transom, stringers and floor rock solid interior need to be redone and the console is a mess but no worse than my 20 was, I need to find a nice 90 hp and do the paint and a good washing. I took several pictures then the damn batteries died.

Blu, that's gonna be a fun project and a great boat to kick around in when she's done...while you're at that transom, are you gonna go ahead and make it a 25"er...

Great find! That is a really functional bow railing. Does she have the same deadrise as the 20 ? My 18' fisherman only has a deadrise of 14 degrees. The ride suffers when the weather kicks up a bit.
Congrats, I'm sure you'll do her justice.
