Hey BR...you have a herring tank in your boat...ever since I first thought about buyin this 21, I've been wonderin if the tank under the port seat would support live herring...very fragile bait and conditions have to be RIGHT...

Well Thursday was test day and it kept 5 doz blue-back herring JUMPIN even into the HEAT of mid-day...1st boat I've ever had didn't have to give up the floor space to a bait tank all day long...

First had to seal the gaps inside between tank edge and seat box so water won't slosh out riding on trailer and across the water...

Then a no-slosh lid that'll also hold the water in...once you set up a herring tank for the day, you no wanna lose water...

This little bugger makes it work...aeration is the key..gotta make them BUBBLES...and this thing did the trick...pulls air right into the pump's empeller blades and shoots a steady stream of TINY bubbles the herring love...

Now I know it works, I'll hide the wires back to the battery...I know you like to striper fish DAWG and this was a relatively easy conversion...and if any of the V-20s had this tank prior to the 21, it'll work on those too!!...

Sweet Reel, that is the floating type of aerator, correct? The corners in there are rounded somewhat, but not much. I guess it would be enough. I normally use that as the fish box (as long as they fit) but sometimes will use it for pinfish/bluefish when going after kings with live bait. As you probably know, my boat is not really set up for lake fishing for stripers but maybe one day I pimp out my 21 with a nice electric trolling motor like yours.

Oz, if you aren't an engineer by trade - you should be! Nice work!
