Well after years of broken, water logged lights I hope these new ones will last a while!!
There are no connections that go in the water!! There is a small amount of wire in the water but no connections.

Those are nice. Are they LED or conventional bulb type?

Dude that's a sweet way to keep them out of the water.

LEDS? Definately will last a long time as long as no one thinks they will look better on their trailer.

Super sweet looking. I don't have the guides on my trailer so I went with the square submersible LED's. Time will tell if I should have gone with the guides. I love the raised lights, both for keeping the lights out of the water and also for the increased visibility they provide for following drivers on the road. Are they a kit or do they come that way from the factory?

I just readjusted a trailer and lost access to where the brake lights mounted. I was thinking to place them on the fenders but I like this much better. I bet those guides help the guy behind you at the public launch get to the ramp a little quicker.

Thank Guys!!
lights are bulbs not LED,
I got the lights from fleabay also.
I bought the guide on's online for about $75, the lights fit 2" PVC, but I just bought some PVC reducers and made them fit 1 1/2. They are nice and bright!!

Interesting concept. I was thinking I may need new lights as I was troubleshooting a problem last night with a ton of mosquitoes helping me out. :bat:Turned out to be a blown relay in the truck.
Next time they need replacing, will definitely look into that style.

Nice setup, MJ...they'll make night loading easier too...if the guy in the truck will let off the brake pedal...too bright w/brake lights on
To this day, the best underwater connection I've found is a wire-nut, filled w/silicone...that's PACKED and filled w/silicone...:hi:
