Hopefully my Blue Seas Glass Fuse Block will last a little longer than your switches...thanks for the heads up...

Is that orange wire on left w/in-line fuse Bennet trim tabs?...looks like mine...

If you look at the 5th pic the trim tab switch is tyhere, and yes they have a inline fuse. BS put a 15 in it and we blew it at sea the other day, But I had more on board and replaced with a 30 now no more issues.

I have a Blue Seas fuse panel in the electronics box for the Radar, and Spreader lights, hope that stays well?
I have to get a few more pics also to post.

I also did not go the heat shrink root because in my eyes its just another way to let moister in and then it has a hard time drying. I used Liquid Electric Tape instead, I put 2 coats on all and that seals it all tight.
Thats just my way, I am sure you be fine.

You are right about heat shrink...it leaves gaps, particularly at the ring...won't close down tight...I don't wanna change in mid-stream...and the HS is a step up from what I did in the 74...crimp and go there...and in 11 years never had a failure...but then she didn't see as much salty stuff as you guys do up there...that sh!t's ROUGH on stuff!!...:bat:

The temp gague malfunctioned the other day while out running the river. After jiggling the wires,..it works.
Rewiring behind the panel of my '77 V-20 Cuddy on the to-do list.
