Well the guy I thought I was gonna sell my boat and Merc to bought a new Harley last week, so the Merc is available.
For those who don't know the history:
This is a 1999 Merc 150 Blue Water 25 ". *It came on a V-20 that I bought to use my 2003 Johnzuki 4 stroke on.
It was giving an overheat alarm when I got it but I have fixed that with sand removal and a new waterpump.
Included with the motor will be all controls, cables, wiring, SS prop, and the tachometer.
The motor exterior looks to be in good condition for age and use (saltwater) and the motor runs great.
This was originally an oil injected motor but that system was removed prior to my purchasing it.
I am asking $3200.00. But this is just a starting place, lets talk.
According to NADA.com average retail is around $3400.00 and that would not include the controls, cables, wiring, prop and tach.
The previous owner estimated the hours at 150, but I have no idea for sure.
I am going to leave the motor on the boat for a few weeks to allow test run opportunities.
