Now that is cool!!!! There used to be a guy around Holden Beach, NC that used a boat with tailfins on it to run crab pots, but that was 20 years ago, it wasn't like that one, but it was neat too.

I am quite certain the boats used in that James bond movie were Glastron GT 150s or 160s [15' or 16']......how do I know???, my first boat was a 1977 gt150 w/ 75 Evinrude. They are the same hull as what Lumber posted only difference is the GTs had Plexiglas wraparound windshields. Alot of fun times on that boat....and I fished the hell out of it ;)

yep, there she is. Mine was silver metal flake w/ black and red pinstripe. A 3 cyl. 75 Rude, ran like a swiss watch, loved that motor. TinMan an I did a "little" wake jumpin' one day....I was bearing down on a tugboats wake not realizing how big it was.Well just let me say, anything that wasn't stowed under that tiny bow ended up out of the boat, cushions, life vests, coolers, kneeboards, you name it. That, I do believe, was the last wake jump of the day :-[

One James Bond movie used a Marquis boat.

I've got a GT 160 in my back yard I'm rebuilding for a friend, I've replaced the transom, stringers, floor. Just finshed Awl-gripping the bottom and flipped it back over, half way thru stripping the deck. He's got an old 150XS inline to clamp on the back. It keeps getting in the way of working on my V-20

Hammer, its not much to look at right now. Most of the pics i have were predigital( that tells you how long I've been working on it). I threatened to set it on fire more than once. the most recent time I sprayed the bottom and hull sides, slickest spray job I've ever laid down. Came back the next day and the dew had set on it before the paint cured, that high gloss Awl-grip is now flat white, When I get more to look at I'll post some pics
