Very nice..... Renaissance Man!!!

So, I might be in the market for a bow for next season. What does a bow like that cost compared to these fugly modern compound bows they are selling these days?

It was 550.00 If you want a traditional style longbow made the exact way Howard Hill and John Shultz built them and especially tillered them then he is probably the best at it now as he was taught by John Shultz.
It is a sweet shooter Blue, you will be very impressed.
Oh and the Renaissance Man, that is me. Ran a Traditional only Archery Shoppe here in NJ for ten years called Renaissance Archery. If you know any traditional guys that have been doing it for quite awhile they will know me.
Got the name from friends of mine that looked at all my hobbies etc. and called me that for years.

Sweet bud! Love it. I knew you were Renaissance man...and remember you saying you owned the shop for a while. That's really cool. Man I would be so proud to get a deer with one of those! My buddies have been hunting with thier modern bows for the last couple season with nothing to show. I sure would like to one-up their azzes!!!

They think I'm crazy for wanting a traditional style bow.

Well Ozzie your good friend Mike called me, nice fellow. Gave him the heads up on the bow etc.
He tells me he has known you since you were both pups, I told him not to tell to many people that and he said he had hoped your reputation had not spread that far

I told him you'd give me a hard time...hope you guys had a good chat..there are three men I know I put complete trust in as a friend...he is one of them.

He was impressed w/your knowledge of trad and happy to talk to you on that level...he said ya'll talked so long his battery started dyin'...do you Skype?...he Skyped a guy in Ireland a while back re trad shooting...

Which is Skype, is that the one where you see the person and talk on the laptop, cause my kids all do that, I know my computer will do it too.

Skype works w/out visual (just audio) as well...if your kids are doin it, get 'em to set you up...
