I wonder why Wellcraft put these boxes in the corners of these boats? *They are right in the way of where I like to stand while reeling in the big ones.

I think you have the exception there BGA instead of the rule.

RM,

Is that exception something the factory did? Just curious...

Yeah, Steve...best I remember, yours was onna the 1st full-transom duallies on here...apparently like the cuddy and CCs, Wellcraft did several configurations of the transom as well...

If somebody could get thru the title probs and hang RB's Merc 150 on it, that'd be a nice ride w/a little TLC ;) ... assumin' this guy's not tryin' to move a stolen boat, couldn't ya just apply for a "lost title"...

Thanks RAP, that's interesting and good to know.

I sort of get the impression that something is a bit odd about the title situation. If he bought the boat only to turn around and sell it (as he readily admits), then it seems to me he would have gone through the hoops to get the title stuff worked out so that he would have an easier time selling it himself. That would have been a priority in my book if I were planning to do what he's doing.

You're right, RAP. Depending on what that boat sells for, it could be a reelly good deal. Too bad he's in TX.

Steve

Why cant the seller/owner just reapply for a new title for 20 or 30 bucks. Hmmm. :-/

BAD NEWS Skool's,

When I went to register my V, I found that all boats over 14 ft must be titled now.

That still shouldn't stop us from doing what you said, it just costs $45 now instead of $15.

i found out that the title is only on a purchase, they still only require a bill of sale to buy and the renewal is still only $25 for 3 yrs. i just renewed my old 82 Stand Up jetski it has no title and they didn't require meto buy one on my renewal so it's still the same and all good. *;D

Its only if you are buying a boat or jetski that you have to title it.

The guy must have bought thr boat to resale, and never got the title him self, This is why he can't apply for a lost title.

He would have to get the guy he got it from to reapply and then he could sell.

Just have to get a bill of sale from a non titling state, then you can reg in your state and pay for the title, you all set!!

But as you see they are fast becoming all titles in all states!

This boat was on the Dallas Craigslist. He was asking $1500.

I guess he sold it locally and took it off Ebay........

I guess when they did away with the motorwell they figured there was a need for some space to put the batteries and oil tanks in. *I'm just glad I don't have em. *That was one of the reasons I didn't persue that duallie with the full transom. *

But you guys probably don't like the motorwell. *I have plans for this motorwell. ::)

You could fix it up to hold 10 or 12 dozen at a time. 8)
