What I want to know is where is all of this cash coming from all of a sudden for the "northern mafia." Just yesterday, MJ says on another thread in regard toa 115 4 stroke:
"I would do it if I had the cash!! Man I wish I had cash for a new motor!!"
Then, just hours later, he is shown kissing/humping a new even bigger 225 h.p. 4 stroke. CB gets the new scout then the t-top. What gives?

Most of my funds came from the sale of my other boat. That was applied towards this new boat along with some I've been saving.
Life is good back here in the NE nipper. You need to come back and join us.
Oh, and yes, it's my new T-Top. Brand new but I got a steal on it at 1/2 price.

Ferm is right on the money!
As for me, I did not want to let on in that thread for the F115 that I was dealing on the F225,
And lets not forget the unemployed BS that just had a 23' Seacraft CC shipped from CA!!
Have you guys heard about the latest bank robbery's going on here in the North??
There is just so many deals out there that we had to start getting in on some before they are all gone!
Alot of you new guys were not here way back when I lost my house and had ZERO cash, My motor blew and the gang here all chiped in to raise $1500 so I could get a use motor from another member here so I could fish!! And CB was boat less!!
How times have changed!

Luckily I don't have a wife anymore to spend my money, so I was able to save a bunch this past year and buy the house. I now have a nice looking roommate (tenant) paying $$$ toward my mortgage. 23 Seacraft only cost $1500 + shipping ($1600) . . . boats are friggin cheap these days. If I can turn the boat/motor/parts stuff from a hobby into a biz . . . I'll never work on another network/sever/PC problem again for as long as I live!!!!!

I hope all you New England guys know I was just jerkin' your respective chains. I am very happy for all of you and wish you nothing but health, happiness and prosperity. MJ, I recall reading a recount of the story about the members of this site chipping in to buy you the outboard to get you out on the deep blue, and, call me a puss, but I almost get a tear just thinking about it now. There are truly good and genuine people in this world, and it is amazing how an inordinate number of them have made their way to this site.
Now putting all of that mushy stuff aside, I was seriously pissed at my Colts loss yesterday. I have to hand it to Belichick and the Pats in their 16-0 (Heck, 18-0) season. They did not pull the starters in the last 2 games did they? Man, when you are 14-0 you are in rare air, and I think a team owes it to the fans, to the players, to future generations, to go for the whole banana.
I was able to take my youngest son (9 year old Peter) to the game yesterday. I got tix from my brother in law. We had a great time, but left the game feeling somewhat cheated because the Colts pulled their best off the field. Yeah, maybe that game did not mean much to the Colts in terms of standings, home field advantage, etc., but people paid millions of dollars collectively to watch that game, and, in my opinion, got less than what they deserved for their $. Sure, Manning and/or other starters may have gotten hurt in the last quarter and 1/3, but the odds of that happening are just pretty slight. And if someone got hurt, so what, that is the game of football, a game you should go out to win every time you step on the field. It is really much too dangerous a game to do anything but that.
Near the end of the debacle, I pointed out a sign to my son in the opposite end zone. It said "One Game at a Time." The Colts were not following that philosophy--they were looking ahead to their bye game and, hopefully not their first and last, playoff game. I think what the Colts management/coaches did sends a message of fear to all who they may face in the playoffs, and that is not the message you want to send.

I think that game is definately going to have a big psychological effect on the team nipper. I think it was a very bad move. Manning is a great QB though. No doubt about it.

ChumB, you have grandkids, right? Have you ever had to endure an episode of Spongebob with them? Did you notice that the restaurant run by the evil "Plankton" is called the "Chumbucket?"

Purely coincidental. I'm not that evil.
OK, maybe I am. But still purely coincidental. I've endured many episodes.

In regards to Nipper's comments on the Colts...
This also blew my fantasy football. It was the final game and I was up to win $600. I had Manning and Addai.

I was in a weekly survivor pool at work. I got knocked out last week by picking Denver instead of Houston. Sundays' Colts game would have knocked me out though had I advanced another week. I was in the final six to win $5K. Soooo close.
