I suspect by now or sometime soon he will be hitched:nut:. I seen on his Myspace that he was getting married today, so figure sometime soon he will be on to announce the end of life as he knew it. It all changes once that ring goes on the finger, but it aint all bad. I wish you and your new other half the best.

Thanks Guys yeap it's over now lol now I gotta get back to work on these poor boats in my yard. Her family came in from NY and now wanted to come next summer to go boating yikes. 6 boats in the yard none finished yet. I told Steph she had to help lay some more glass lol , like when she and I replaced the transom on the 21, she's game. what can I say I have a great ol' lady. BR has had the pleasure of meeting her a few times. Honeymoon is next yr once it warms up. we did go to the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday to see the fall leaves. it was time we married i'm near 32 she's 6 yrs older. guy in the lodge told me all men should marry once due to there are no married men in hell due to their wives have already worried it out of them lol.

Thanks again guys.

Todd, just saw the pics, thanks for the link. You picked a good one my friend. Be glad you scooped her up before someone else did.

The ceremony looked beautiful. Congrats!

Congratulations....Weddings are one of the few days in your life that once they start everything is pretty much taken care of for you after that....just show up then go with the flow....of course you do have to eventually pay all those people that took care of you!!

And I couldnt be more surprised that you are 32 years old! The way I read your posts I had you pegged for an old crotchety bastard....probably because of the way you're always trying to ***** slap me when it comes to politics!:fam::fam::fam:.

Again, congratulations!

And I'm just a semi-young crothety bastard:party:. Just remember this about weddings. You know why you wear black to a wedding and a funeral? Because they are both the end of life as you know it.

come on man, leave the poor fellow alone, he is going to have enough trouble figuring this stuff out as it is.

Just kidding Todd, congrats again my friend. She has to be a good one to put with your hobbies

congrats skools. You got a good one there. I am engaged to potential wife #2. I've learned from the mistakes I made from the first one(10 years). If I could pass on some advice. Always appreciate what she does for you. Your wife IS your best friend. Don't ever go to bed mad at each other. Just a few observations that I became a little lax on.

I've been married for 13 years and here is my very best advice which I've come to learn....and it took 12 years to learn it:

Even when you get mad at her - act happy. Life is a busy hectic thing to go through and you are bound to not see eye-to-eye on everything. There is a right way and a wrong way to disagree on something. The wrong way is to get loud, condecending and combative. The right way is to lovingly tell each other what it is that is bothering you.

Now lets go fishing!

best advice i've been given:" when you argue, and you will, both of you take your clothes off."

I don't know why I bother, But who wouldn't want to Wilson? Intelligence comes in all ages.. For dogs and cats it happens early on, about the time they open their eyes. I could not resist...:you:
 Congrats to School & his new first mate.

BTW I consider myself a middle-aged crotchety bast*** but doubt I will live to see 80.

nipper, might want to call first, don't want to catch her arguing with the neighbor..
