View Full Version : Parents anniversary fishin trip

My parents' 32nd anniversary was Sunday and they wanted to go fishing. With the sell of our house fast approaching the only time I had available was Friday night. 32 years ago they sat at the west of of DI and caught the ever popular "democratic" trout. They wanted to do this again no matter how much I try and sway my dad into the speckled ones. Its in his blood I guess. ;D


Well we hit a few places until we hit pay dirt and we sat and caught quite a few whities until about midnight. Caught most of em on FIN S jigs and various other grubs tipped with shrimp. My little girl's Bday party was Saturday so we took some home to fry up for guests.

My dad also got this nice 2lb 12oz flattie. 8)

As you can see I managed to sneak a speckled bastage in there. :D


They had a good time... 8)

I think you just took the same pic from last time and photoshopped the flattie in there - I mean isn't that the same divit in the grass as the last pic? ::) ;D

I'll take the same thing on my 32nd if I can make it that far!

LOL Yeah I use the same spot in the yard. Thas why the grass is so green...all the slime I guess. ::)

dude, you look just like ur dad. sorry but, i gotta ask. was ur dad wearing a thong too? i'm guessing not. i wonder what he would say if he saw the bracket pic. hmm. i mighta just figured out how ta get a free fishin trip outa ya...

LOL my dad was in the yard watching when we took the picture. PH, no one to date has embarassed me at all, not my wife, friends, parents, etc....you certainly have no hope of being the first. ::)


Thats the beauty of being me, I simply dont care what people think. ;)
