gas tank storage

Just removesd my saddle tanks from my 75' v20 so I can do my transom repair. I emptied the tanks now they will sit till next year, just wondering if I should clean them out with some kind of flush if it exists? also is it ok to just leave them empty? should iseal the ports or let them breathe? Thanks

you can clean it out by useing acetone (home depot)...just put in about a quart in each thak with some clean stones,,, swish it back and forth and enpty your tank will be clean the stones will clean out all the junk... Go the utube and put in gas tank cleaning
