I'm selling my 1982 V-20 CC with 170 HP Inboard/Outboard.

Electrical system completely rewired last year as well.
New fishfinder/depthfinder. New handheld GPS.
Cover, life vests, flare kit and many extras included.
Comes with brand new Venture trailer with brakes. Paid $2,200 for trailer. Trailer works, but brake actuator got bent last year. New one will cost about $160.

I am in Arlington, VA, just outside DC.
The motor has been tuned up a couple of times. Oil changes, etc.
I have not started it since last fall, but it was running fine then. I plan to crank it up this weekend.

Thanks Bob, I'm in long island ny and have only been able to find garbage around here. Looked at a 1973 v20 ;Dcuddy yesterday but as i've learned from reading this site its transome was shot. I think my best bet is to find an io and eventually throw on a bracket. If I can convince the wife that a trip to D.C. would be educational i'll look you up but I think she'll be on to me as I am not that cultured.

You could always use the excuse that your local senator called
and he needs your assitance with a special bill he is trying to pass. ;)

No bottom paint. A couple of small knicks in the front of the hull where i accidentally bumped it getting it on the trailer last year. I was going to fix those but just didn't get it done.

The transom is solid as a rock. No soft spots anywhere on the hull or the deck.

Hey Fire, jump in my grave that fast? Us newbies have to stick together! No, it's all yours. I'm holding out hope that something will appear locally if not there's always golf; talk about aggravation! ;D

Parish, unfortunately my senator is a former first lady that my wife isn't very fond of. I think Rudy G. will get her vote before Mrs. C

I wanted to be polite about it so I wasn't a jerk like everyone says I am! (and those are my friends) ;D

It sounds pretty good but I'm not sure about an I/O. I think I could be happy with the cuddy but I'm used to outboards. Also, missing hatch. How much trouble is that?

Maybe I need to post a new topic on I/O vs. OB? I bet that would get some opinions!!!

Yes O/B & I/O has been done many times!!

Get it if you like, and run it into the ground may last 10 years may last 10 min??
But by the time it goes you will know what you like, and if its OB there is all kinds of info here to convert.

The slider can be fixed many ways, if it is the 2 piece and the inside one is missing, Starboard will do the trick!

POST PIC"S!!

MJ: howz about a link to discussion on the I/O OB debate? Is a newbie allowed to ask for such assistance?

Fire it has been a subject raised dozens of times, I don't think it was just a link, if you do a search and make sure you go back 400 days or whatever you should come up with a bunch

Hey Everyone,
I got inspired this afternoon and took off the cover and snapped some pix. Please ignore the leaves and such. I literally just took off the cover. I will clean her up this weekend.
Also, I found the hatch cover. Long story.
Here is a link to the pix:

Thanks for the interest.
Best,
Bob
