tilt and trim

my outdrive comes out of the water in reverse
have a 75 chris craft lancer with a 350 volvo penta
are there some kind of springs that might have broken,
no fluid leak and the tilt and trim still operate

its kind of hard to explain,( and its been a long time since I worked on one) but if you look at the end of the reverse lock pin, its probably blunted, it will have to pulled out and the bur taken off, then it will slide thru the lock hole

That sounds right Spare, When I put the new 350 in mine I worked on my pins and that's exactly what I did. (I also have the 350 volvo penta duo prop)
