Hey all,

Just bought my first boat (used). I have been on the water all my life but never had my own. Everyone tells me I stole it from the guy, and once I found this board, I seem to think the V20 is a great boat. Does anyone know where I can get side curtains for the boat. Do you have to have them made/special ordered? As I said, I have never owned a boat and don't have a clue..... Oh, I bought a 1972 V20, rebuilt I/O 165HP, It purrs and runs like a kitten, only minor blemishes and the guy I bought it from was the original owner, and said it was a fishing machine.... Only paid $2800 for it and trailer..... (He had just bought a new boat). Took it out for the first time this weekend and had a ball. Look forward to many days of fishing for flounder ahead!

I just joined the forum about a week ago and have a ton of info about these boats. Great forum and great group of V20 owners to help.

Welcome, my first was a '73...I never lost the "bug" now I have a '94. I love all of the V20 / V21 models....except the 2004 which was a major flop.

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your new (to you) boat. I think you will need to have your side curtains custom made.

Welcome to the site and good luck with your new(to you) boat! Does yours have the 4 or 6 cylinder motor? And have you taken pics of it yet?
