I wonder why wellcraft stopped finishing the cabin. My 79 is just bare glass under the carpet, No gellcoat. >:(

Deshet, Let me know if you go look. If you're not intersted I might be. Just need to know if the boats worth the trip and if the trailer will bring it back to NY. Thanks.

If you want me to I will try and take a look either Saturday or Sunday. Please don't have me look at it if you are not serious. The engine alone is almost worth the asking price. So if you want it act quick. If I was boatless it would have been gone already.

Some of these boat junk yards around here would try and get $3000 for that motor.

I am sure $1800 cash or less will take it.

deshet, I don't know how close you are so I don't want to put you out. I was just saying that if you were going to look at it let me know what you think. I'm still holding out hope that one will materialize closer to home and honestly from the little I can make out in the photo , the trailer doesn't look so great. Now that the weather has finally broken in the northeast I think that something will show soon. I'm also in the process of getting rid of my 18' cobia 1989 bowrider. I bought it and was able to use it 4 times. The Great South Bay tends to get a little too rough for the likes of that boat. My previous boat was a 20' mako but again it was a very wet boat, [modified v] so when I heard about these boats I joined the site and became a big fan. A lot of very knowledgeable members to help guide me through. I just realized that I'm writing a bookhere so again thanks and don't go out of your way.

I am actually very close to the guy no more the 30 mins tops properly less unless the guy listed the item location as Virginia Beach so that people would have a better idea of where he was.

The guy is probably pretty honest since he has 100% good feedback.

$2000 is a great price, considering I sold what I call a junk boat for $1200 a few months back. Not really junk but no where near the boat a V20 is.

thanks

Thanks, but no chance of getting away anytime soon now. Between working 2 jobs, school, and now invitro fertilization I'm on call for the next 3 weeks if you know what I mean. I just have to tell myself that this wasn't the boat for me...at least that helps me sleep nights. Soon enough it will all work out.

I actually e-mailed the gentleman and it does sound good. I just don't think I can get down and back quick enough right now. I guess I have a couple of days to decide.
