Pompano trip

went to a local barrier island today for the first pompano trip of the year. missed the spring run, but thought maybe some stragglers would be around.didn't start fishing until noon and packed it up at 3:00. for the northern crew, that's some of the best eating that swims.....

Nice flounder George! Did you get him while pompano fishing?

We're going out tomorrow to hopefully get some gags, I'll post some pics if we get anything picture-worthy.

i got the flounder on the bay side of spanish shanty. since ya'll are working 4 days a week, lee wanted to go pompano fishing. she caught 2 of them.
good luck on the grouper, we're going snapper fishing today, i'll post if we do anything.
