I have a 1998 Black TDI VW Beetle.
PW, PL, Keyless, AC, CD, CC, Side airbags, factory removable bike rack
5 spd

150k miles

currently getting 47 MPG


run on rotella full sythenic



car runs great and on looks good (has a few dings)


newer brakes


Jan inspection sticker

Timing belt replaced

$5800 obo obo obo

Had a good friend of mine on the PD who had a VW Rabbit with that diesel, 360,000 miles and sold it for 500 bucks, still running good, rusted out in spots but drive train still reliable.
If that thing was a automatic I'd be down there and buy it for my daughter :-/

I got a buddy who has a newer diesel rabbit. He gets about 50 MPG on the road and towes his 16' Alumacraft with it.` It tows it great and he even says its better than his 4 cylinder Ranger did.

You can teach her to drive a manuel. It will last a lot longer. Plus it looks like the current body style.
Give it some thought if interested.
