I have bought many many things from ebay, and one time I bought a Flute for my daughter and it was way out of tune, took to have fixed they said its a off brand and would cost 10 times what its worth, so I bought one from school $600 :'(

But I have no complaints!! I have saved tons and got some great deals!!

JKust got to watch the sellers, if they have no feed back or less the 96% I won';t buy!
And also they have to take Paypal with a cerdit card, checks & Money orders are a NO NO!

What MJ said. PaPal is very secure. A good seller will work things out with you is there is a problem. I love eBay!! I get everything from there!! I would buy groceries on there if I could. ;D

Yes, I agree, the feedback system keeps the buyers and sellers honest. *Always study feedback carefully. *Like MJ says if they do not have at least 96 percent positive feedback you probably will want to move on and find another item.

If you get burned on eBay - chances are it was your own fault - not always, but if you are careful there should not be much to worry about.

CTT,

Don't get in a rush on ebay, something better will come up tomorrow.

I bought my V on ebay. ::)

And fishfinder, and 2 Garcia 6500 reels, and a prop, and a Dr. Seuss video game, and a........you get the idea.

Oh, and I sold a 150 Merc on there too.

I like it. Just watch the shipping charges, some of those seem like rip offs.

I bought my last three boats and sold two of them all on Ebay. *In fact, I currently have two items for sale on Ebay...

It's a great resource. *However, it only takes one jerk to make a deal go sour. *Even people with 95% feedback can have thousands of good transactions and might have had a 99% or 100% score for the longest time, but somewhere down the road, the bad transactions started... *

And when you experience a bad transaction, all you can do is leave negative feedback; you're still stuck with the rotten egg of a deal and all you can do then is *:'(

All that to simply reaffirm what the others have said already. *Just be careful, be patient, and do your homework. *
