I am trying to find a place to buy replacement windshield supports for my 87 cuddy can't find any local dealers in my area harford county md :sad:

mine look a little different plus if I measured right they are 15" that was from tip of ball to tip of the other ball the ones you showed me are for taylor made windshield I have another brand but from what I hear they were just bought out by taylor so maybe they will work . thank you Iwill call them and ask

tanker, i just replaced mine with the ones RMB showed you. i just took the old ones apart and used the old tube on the new ones. the new ones are about 1 inch too short.

Thats a good idea, or you could use a 1 inch block of starboard or wood as a spacer, but surely someone makes 15" ones.

15" are hard to find and it seems like the most needed i found a stainless kit at a local marina that was cut to fit, they measured 20" and i just cut to fit my app. they didn't cost as much as i feared, only $27.50 plus tax for the set.

for right now I took the old one and used jb weld to see if that holds til I find a new one but thanks to youre help I can try other ideas thanks again

This is what I did use Bow Rail tubes , and stainless bimini attachments it will screw directly into the existing support on the windshield end no mod required and attach to the dashboard solid and strong.

Yes my windshield is ice over in Orlando as the Floridians will say, I am from up north I call it a real case of morning dew.
