As you may have noticed from alot of posts I have been searching the past 6 months for a seating solution for the stern of the boat....my wife insisted on more seating ('nuff said)

I found a seat in Florida that looked perfect but the seller would not ship it....probably would have been pricey too.....

NYMack66 got the ball rolling and offered to pick the seat up for me and hold it until a relative was able to to get it and drive it up here when he came up for Easter....

Many thanks to NYMack66:clap:for helping me out....It is much appreciated!!!

finally finished mounting it today...I really couldnt be any happier with the size, quality and overall condition. I have it hinged so I can fold it forward to allow motor to fully raise. The hinges have quick release pins so I can quickly pull the whole thing out too if I want.

That's it, I'm done for now . Hopefully only fishing pictures from now on.

Those hinges are the perfect application! I'm building a bench for mine and was still trying to figure out how to attach it. Thanks for the pictures I will steal your ideas!:sly:

Looks comfortable and easily removable. Great Job.

Found it on ebay from an individual...He had it on Craigslist too and I think that ad said it was off of a Wellcraft....It cleaned up pretty nicely, it's a little "aged" but so is the rest of the boat so it blends in nicely....for $75 I couldnt be happier.

Thanks for the compliments on the install. I cant tell you enough how much I love Mcmaster Carr Supply...they have every type of hinge and latch you can think of. I had so many different ways I was planning on mounting it my head started to hurt...pretty happy with the final solution. I actually couldnt tell from the pics from the ad that it had that nice fiberglass base with removable cushion. It allowed me to through bolt all the hardware which was a bonus.
