Last time we had just gotten thru installing trim tabs...posed a problem w/the swim platform...when dismantling there's always one bolt that won't come out...
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/reelapeelin/SwimPlatform002.jpg
Drilled a small slot in the edge, just enough to stop it...
http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/reelapeelin/SwimPlatform001.jpg
That done I figured the best way to go was to reinstall the frame...

Here's the raw piece...gonna take a little whittlin'...

Got the 3 pieces cut, now clearance for the tab-cylinder...

Line up the 3 pieces...

Startin' to take shape...

OK...after several passes w/the router (3 different bits) and some screw-holes...bolt on the side handle on the right to help the old fat-boy outta the water...

She's DONE...Starboard to the rescue again...

OK...ready to haul it down to Sunset Beach tomorrow for Spring Break...hope for some pics to share w/you guys when we get back...

RB...you gonna be down that neck of the woods any next week?...

Sorry about double posting some of the pics...will try to do better next time...thought about it, but decided against reaming out a slot in the original, so found this piece of 1" Starboard left over from a recent project...

Hey Reel and Randleman, you guys know that area well? Every June my family and my old neighbors from SC spend a week in Ocean Isle Beach. I want to bring the boat this year and am trying to find somewhere nearby to keep the boat in the water for the week. Any ideas.

Wound up not takin' the boat...bummer, but turned out for the best cause trip was shortened...

Wilson, I guess you've discovered the ramp under the OI bridge...but as far as where to dock for a week or so, I can't think of anyplace...I always pull it out or tie up at the dock where we stay, so I've never needed dockage...if RB doesn't have answer, Google Marinas in Holden Beach and OI...the only one I can think of closed last year...

Good luck...
