Practicin' what I preach, here are some pics of the tabs from Spareparts...haven't drilled any fiberglass inna while...Ahh the smell of fresh-drilled glass in the morning!!...bout time this ol girl got some tabs/...can't wait to try 'em out!!
This is where Spare helped me out...the tube woulda come thru the transom into the splashwell was the problem...here it makes it thru the transom, but outside the splashwell

Spare's suggestion moved the cylinder mount on the tab over some to reposition it for inside clearance...you can see the empty hole in the lip of the tab where originally positioned...drill another hole to reposition cylinder took care of the prob...thanks Spare

Now I gotta make a new platform for the swim-platform...the tab cylinder is definately in the way to remount as original...that'll be another post soon to come...I hope!!

see how far out you can slide the platform base( the white plastic part), you may be able to cut a small semi circle in the base to clear the tab. I set a whaler up once like that, it didn't look to bad

I thought about doin' that...I'll check it out and see where the webbing under the platforms is in relation to where the cut has to be...if it's supported underneath, that might save some Starboard...

Hey Reel
My trim tabs are about inthe same place as yours, this creates alot of turbulance for your transducer (fish finder) and it may not read while underway. Mine won't work. I had to install a thru-hull about 26: fwd and on the stbd side. I already had a hole in the hull there for a water washdown.
Yours may work but mine didn't. P/s I wouldn't trade my tabs, I love them.

Looks good! My scupers were right in the way on mine, but just keep moving till you make them fit.

Thanks guys...I LOVE drillin' holes in my hull...especially below the waterline...
Garage...thanks for the heads up on the transducer...I'll be keepin' an eye on it soon as I can get 'er back in the water...
Everything in the pics is dry-fit at this point...gotta get some 4200 for final install...

I have spent the better part of the last 2 days going thru all my tackle, cleaned it, organized it, put a ton on new hooks on my lures. Next I'll tackle the rods and reels and tune them up! I'll be out soon, anyone wanna go????
