Check these out on Ebay. Guy is selling the molds for seat bases. The finished product is VERY sharp.

You could make that mold yourself for about $100

The guy would do better making some boxes and selling the finished product instead of the mold.

It was going to be on of my winter projects till I found the Pompanette chairs for my V, They won't work well with a base like that. The seat track and base would make it way too high
