Lets see.
The anchors go in the floor between the helm and cuddy.

Ropes go just forward of the anchors.

Net, paddle (what ever it might be good for) and gaff go with the rods.

I put my lobster dive gear all in the fore bait box in under the floor, motor stuff, Oil, spare fan belt, various items in the aft fish box, flares, charts binoculars, handheld radio, first aid kit, tackle box, jacket and raincoats all go in the cuddy cabin. Life vests all go under the passenger seat, anchor in it's compartment. Rods in holder sna ice chest under the cuddy on the floor.

Everything fits nicely. Just got back for nailing a bunch of Spanish mackerel and a couple grouper. No one tripped over anything.

Did this for emergency ladder.

And if needing ladder for watersports, just throw it somewhere.

As far as the tools, spotlight, flares, first aid, they get put in the same type of container as the ropes but get stored in the cuddy forward of the helm.
Oh, one more place for rods, gaff, net or whatever.

Usually the tackle boxes are the only thing on the deck. They fit to the rear on either side of the battery/bilge compartment.

I have a 2 gallon bucket with a lid I keep all of my little stuff in such as first aid kit, flares and small stuff I keep in the cuddy. It snugs nicely out of the way right next to the door. Life Vests go in the cuddy as well when not being worn. Rods go in the rod holders and I use the two in the deck fish boxes for just about anything, usually empty cans and sandwich bags.

1st thing to do is get rid of the ladder and install a swim-platform on the transom...that'll solve half yer storage problem right off the bat...:bat:...

That is unless you have a particular need for a ladder and nothing else will do...

Like the others I have holders for the net and stuff like that, I store all in the cuddy in square 5 gal buckets they fit better and all stay dry!!

I nom longer have a V20 I have a 23 Sea Ox but all is the same in that cuddy also.

Ladders are a real pain!! Get yorself a rope ladder that rolls up or just bring your ladder when you know you are going to use it.

I leave my boat at the marina in the summer so everything has to be locked up. I dont have the first compartment tsubaki showed with his anchors. I have one similar in the floor of the cabin five gallon bucket with line and also store oil, antifreeze, boat soap, brushes). and another in the very front floor of the cabin (anchor and rode and bumpers). Rods get placed on the upper side shelfs of the cabin while at the marina. life preservers in their original bag laying in the cabin. GPS, fishfinder, first aid kit, and other misc get stored in a large luggage style tackle bag in the cabin. as far as the net it stays in one of the rod holders, cause I am not worried about someone stealing it.....

well thats where i keep all my stuff too but it seems to get in the way to much, my tackle box might be to big but if i leave any of it home thats when im going to need it
i think im going to install some more rod holder then that would free up some space in the cabin,,
keep the ideas coming the 5 gallon bucket souds good.im going to see what i can fit inside of it

At walfart I bought a 4 palano box holder, its just a frame that you slide them into and snaps to lock them toghter.
I leave in the cabin and have each palano made up for Fluke, Bass, Sea Bass ect ect ect... I just pull the box that I need and thats all that comes up top.
I am working on a new sinker locker now, But what I have done so far is take 2" pvc pipe, cap one end, then puty a screw cover on the other end, a sticker that has what size sinker. Now to make a holder to hold them on the side walls. works pretty gosd.

I don't carry on any tackle boxes...I installed a built-in one under the port-side console
