Ok . . . I'm starting a gallery album with some pics of Mercury 2.0L, 2.4L and 2.5L engine mods just in case anyone is interested. I'm mining screamandfly for most of this stuff and I will begin adding some pics of crap that I have around my garage. If any of you guys have a stash of pics or mods you want to share. PM me . . . and I drop them in.

Some disorganized stuff so far . . .

2.5L 330hp port map.
3 different rod slot mods
D port piston pics
Pics of 5 and 7 pedal horizontal fronts
Pics of 2.0L, 2.4L (Early pre-83 chrome, 83 - 91 chrome with fingerports, 2.4L steel, and 2.4L bridgeport) and 2.5L Cylinders (showing ports)

Here's the beginning of the dump.

Thanks BS, that will come in handy when/if I get a go fast boat. If my mind the one I'm getting has a black motor.

Hey BS what's this lower unit worth off my 1994 Mercury 150 2.0L? it's a 20" shaft lower unit. Seals good no water in unit shafts good shifts well nothing wrong just i would recommend a new water pump and it does have a slight chip i think on the skag.

Skools - That's probably worth b/w $250 - $300 in that condition. If you clean it up maybe a little more. It's tough now a days selling parts, not like a year ago. I think that is a 1992 or earlier lower. I thought in 1993 they move to the different style gear housing . . . with the square zincs

ok thank for the info i only can say the boat is a 1994 and the Merc's serial number is a 1994 so i just figured it was the same. i thought about cleaning the bottom paint off it and giving it a fresh coat of paint then list in mid march on ebay.

If you are interested in Mercury performance and V-20's, Mercury thoroughly tested about everything including the V-20 hulls at their test center. When I bought my new 83' Steplift from the Mercury dealer, it came with copies of their "Boathouse Bulletin" for 150, 175 and 200 V-6's. I wonder if anyone still has copies for the V-20?
