called and left a message. I found a motor cycle he's selling and he appears to be less than 5 miles from me. Assuming he calls back I will take a ride down today and get a complete inventory.

Svence, if the enclosure is too good to pass up its mine!! But you can have 2nd shot at it.

Heard back from him. Apparently a lady pulled out in front of him while towing and totalled his truck and boat!. Tough day.

I'm going to go see him today around 2:00

Says he paid 1600 for the enclosure and wants $500.00 says it has a little damage from the accident. Didnt follow exactly what or where but I will check it out today. I might go for it. Wasnt really planning on spending $500 today.

Has fuel tank, hatch covers, all teak, bow rail ...pretty much everything.

Will get pics and prices for you guys today

With that new baby you got no business spending $500!! (my wife standing over my shoulder just asked if I was typing that to myself!!)

No new baby for me. But with my 150 Johnson dead I don't know how well another 500 bucks would go over with the Admiral.

No enclosure yet. The guy has been real good about communicating so far. He wasnt sure if he was going to be able to show me the stuff today. He said if not today than tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

Looks like I need a hatch cover. I've been keeping the boat in the water and when I went to check on her today I had a little damage from the last storn, including losing a hatch cover?

Well Christmas came late at the Wilson's. Sorry Svence but the enclosure is gone. Was hoping it was going to be black or red but green will do. All together I picked up the enclosure, a nice 1 year old back to back seat (with a nice high base) and a 2 year new fuel tank for $700 total. My current fuel tank does not seem to leak but it is original so its just a matter of time.

After I show off my new stuff I'm attaching pics of all the other stuff he has. He really doesnt have any prices in mind so if anybody wants something throw a number out there. I think he was happy to get my $700 so anything after that is gravy. I'll be glad to pick the stuff up and mail it to anybody or hold on to it until you might find yourself in this part of the woods. I'd be glad to contact him as well on any one's behalf.

the only damage we could find from the accident were a couple of small holes in the boot , no big deal.

This is the front piece, as I was hoping he split the panel in the middle so you can walk through to the cuddy and he also cut in a flap in front of the helm so you dont have to look through plastic if you dont want to.

I was surpised how dirty the cushions looked in the picture. They really dont look that bad at all. No rips at all.

the rod holders were in decent shape. Alot of the flange was missing but the visible portions were all there. he spent alot of time repairing them

nice job!!! enclosure looks great ...

i have a 20' center console .. after looking at deshet's boat for sale , it looks like some of the parts are similar to my boat's

i need the buckets that go in the transom hatches

i need the anchor locker door

i need the fish box cover.

also looks like the cushions will fit the bow of my boat as well.

my fish box cover was never with the boat .. my anchor door was made out of wood, but should it be the smoked plexi ???

how can i make sure his parts will fit??

interested in the above

i live in PA about 30 min from the del water gap.

thanks

BSteckel, Without running over there I can check the dimensions on my boat as it is the same year and is safe to assume at this point dimensionally identical to his. Its cold and dark at the moment but hopefully tomorrow I can crawl under the cover and get you the dims.

not sure which one you are calling the anchor door. the pic of the smoked plexi door with wellcraft on it goes over the access in the stern on our cuddy models if thats what you are referring to. maybe its the same door on the center console anchor locker? I will get you dim's and let you decide.

rwilson ...

that would be much appreciated ... from photos is saw the fish box looks similar to mine.

the front most storage area in my boat is where the anchor is ... my door is made out of plywood or simialr from the prior owner .. it looks like it is 2 pieces .. the door itself and then another piece of wood on the top .. like a molding ???

those measuremens will help out a great deal !!!

thanks again.

Brad,

Smoked plexi anchor/splashwell cover: 18 1/2" wide x 12 1/2" high mounting holes for hinges are on the right side.

Fish box door is 35 1/2" x 17 34/"

plastic boxes are 11 3/8" x 6 7/8" at the widest point just under the flange

Cushion dimensions are below. Dimension could vary an inch or so depending upon how tightly you piece them together

Slot, how would you like to work out the logistics. you got a dollar figure in mind.

Easiest way I guess is let me know how much you want to pay. You can paypal me the money, I'll go pick them up and mail them to you. Of course you can just deal directly with him as well but he didnt seem to want to be bothered with mailing things all over the country when we spoke.

Send me a PM if you want

Whats the deal with the aluminum brake next to the bow rail. I'm looking for a cheap used brake, so I can bend metal for all my coil stock work on my garage. ???

Very nice seat, is there a label on it somewhere?

What do you guys use for a helm seat, mine could use an upgrade.

I would like the back to back lounge seat if it is in decent condition. I'd be willing to go $50 bucks plus shipping.

r wilson ...

i cheked my boat today . i am a little confused, maybe someone can chime in here ...

i measured my fish box cover .. as i have no lid, i measured the opening and got 43 1/2 x 17 3/4

i mesured the forward anchor locker and got 19 1/2 w x 12 1/2 h .. this is off exactly 1 inch from your measurements.

my boat is an 85 center console.

i checked the pics of deshet's boat in the for sale section, and his fish box and anchor locker looks exactly like mine.

not sure why our mesaurements are different??? :head:

how much does he want for the fish box lid, anchor locker door, 2 transom storage buckets, and the front cushions...

if you can, get me individual prices as i may not buy them all if i cannot be sure they will fit my boat.

thanks again.

hmm...I would have thought for manufacturing purposes they would try to make them the same. I guess because the center console is more geared towards fishing they gave it a bigger fish box. Makes sense I guess. It is a cuddy cabin that the parts a coming off of...I guess all things are not equal.

I have a call in inquiring about the hatch covers for Airslot and I asked him to come up with some prices on the other stuff. I'll let you know what I hear.

Rwilson,

did you ever get any of those prices?

i am sure the transom storage containers are the same size ..

just wondering .. thanks

BSteckel, He did take a while to get back to me and I told him to come up with some prices on the stuff you were talking about...it was earlier in the week I think. He said he'd come with something and send and email. I will let you know what I hear.

Yeah, sorry about that Spare. I thought for sure they'd fit.

Wilson, do you happen to know the dimensions of the transom hatch covers? I need 12 x 20, I believe and I only need the starboard side with the cutting board.

rwilson, are these parts still available.

at the very least, i want to get 1 storage box that goes in the transom .. i do not need the lids, just the drop in box.

if he wants to sell both, depending in price, i will take them.

thanks

BSteckel,

I was out there today to get the hatches for Airslot and my fuel tank. He wanted $20 for both drop in buckets. to cut down on going back and forth communicating I picked them up. If you want 1 or 2 their yours. If not I'll keep them for spares. no problem either way. He still has the other stuff. not sure why I cant get him to give me any prices....If you are interested in any of the other stuff I suggest you give him a call..he is a nice guy just has a lot going on so its tough to nail him down.

Let me know about the buckets...Where in the poconos are you? My brother lives up there off of 402 near Pecks Pond and comes down everyday. I could send them up with him to save you the trip down.

bsteckel
01-31-2009, 08:31 PM
i am actually about 8 miles south of the pocono raceway if you are nascar fan .. just off route 115. that is some distance from pecs pond, though. maybe 30-40 miles.

i do get by pecks pond once in a while when i am working that area. i am on the road alot in different areas.

i will take both buckets .. would you prefer paypal?

if you can get me a street address and phone number, i will call when i am in the area and stop and get them if there is no hurry. or if you would prefer to ship let me know what the $$ is.

let me know how you would like to proceed. i appreciate your help.
