Wooo...I'm finally done. I don't know how it is with the rest of you, but the poling places here in Wilmington are crazy this morning! I have NEVER seen so many people out to vote. I just hope they all have at least half a brain. God bless everyone.

I went first thing this moring and teh line was wraped around the back of the building, I'm going back later this afternoon. I've been reading the online reports and they are trying everything they can to give this election to Obama, I keep seeing McCain's projected electoral vote count going up(188 as the last count), but the little counter shows he's going down inpercentages. Obama has lost some of the numbers on the projected count, but his counter still shows =. All the articles posted online are very slighted towards Obama, they either say McCain is try to steal to election, or is the under dog, when they give early vote returns, they start off saying Obama leads, then later they tell you the leads are less than the accuracy of the reports, they don't mention the McCain leads till much further down in the article( the part after you have to click on to see the rest), and they down play the fact that the leads McCain has in some states are more than the accuracy of the reports. Why is it the press is allways so ready to put a Democrat in office?

I just looked again (Yahoo home page), and McCain is up to 196 electoral(projected) votes, the little arrow is showing a 1% loss. WTF

I am glad I voted last Friday (early voting allowed). Even then, I had to wait an hour in line to vote. I think the polling places, which are geared toward traditional low to moderate turnout, will be crushed with the high turnout today. I hope people are patient and stick it out to vote rather than leaving when they see the long line.

During the Clinton/Bush election, Dan Rather announced that Clinton had already won Georgia two hours before the polls closed. :head:

I was at the polling [place five minutes before it opened at 6am. At least 100 people there. Got my vote for John in and came to work to see the NY papers with big front page pics of the Obamination saying things like new leadership etc. etc.
I hope like many things i HAVE SEEN OVER THE YEARS THAT THEY ARE WRONG AGAIN, NEVER FELT LIKE THE PAPERS OR THE MAJOR MEDIA EVEN REMOTELY CARED ABOUT THE TRUTH, JUST THEIR AGENDA.
Anyhow, run Johnny run

Wow, I am glad I don't live in a metropolitan area.
It took me longer to drive to my polling place than it did to vote.
From work, 10 minutes to the grange hall, 2 minutes to vote,
10 minutes back to work.
Just to push the hidden button at the bottom of the board that says present.
Just kidding, about the present vote, my vote is secret and
no one will know who I voted for.

got there at 6:40. Walked right in. We are in a pretty small town so that may have something to do with it.

Are you sure your not thinking of FL. Which latter they had to take FL back down and then around 3:00am had declared Bush the winner of FL.

When did you get a WIFE???
See if you would vote, you can at least counteract 1/2 of their silliness.

After 28 years I might as well be, and it is easier then trying to explain to people.
Hi this is my wife, or Hi this is my 28 year girl friend
