Wiring is my major down fall when it comes to repairs ir upgrades. Luckily, I have a really good buddy who is an auto/marine wiring god. I want to buy new gauges for the V. My question to you guys is would these work?

Thanks for the help. Oh yeah, the motor is a 95 225 Evinrude.

They should work if you have the systems monitor bult into your tach already, i.e. low oil light over heat light etc.

You could make em work, but the systems check is for 96+ OMC's. Does your 95 have the red cannon plug, or the multiple plugs? If the single then you don't need a system check guage. Also get a voltmeter instead of a trim guage. You can turnaround and see how the engine is trimmed, but you need to monitor voltage.

Yeah, mine has the red cannon plug, and I was also conserned about the lack of a voltage gauge but the price seemed to be OK. I guess I got about 20 hours to make my mind up.:head:

You'll wanna be able to monitor voltage...if yer adding a depth-finder, most these days have ability to show you that, so you may not need a volt gauge...

Personally I think you should look for a panel like this:
