Odd pick in my opinion, particularly given some people's concerns about John McCain's age. If, heaven forbid, McCain were to pass away, she would be our President. Charlie is right. She's pretty hot. Almost as hot as the tuna himself.

McCain is just trying to get some of the Hilary vote

I think CY hit the nail on the head.

I agree, and when McCain wins, that will keep Hillary out of the history books as for the first female president or vice president!!

I think CY is right too. I think the Hillary vote will go Obama's way, however, after she pulled her acclimation thing at the convention.

I just saw her talking a few minutes ago. I like her. She is attractive, well from what I can see and she is very personable.
The Hilliaryites will be up in arms, at least some of the hardcore womens libber types. Because the first woman in the Whitehouse will not be a left wing socialist political type but a down to earth woman who is fiercely independent, very intelligent and well spoken, does not cow tow to the womans sufferage line of thinking, is married to a regular guy like us.
She hunts and fishes for God's sake, camps, rides snowmobiles, probably has sex cause she likes it. Will not tolerate thievery in her states government, even from her own party and demands responsibilty from her appointees.
Holy crap a thought has just occurred to me, I think I would vote for her as lead on the ticket!!

They will try to hammer her about her inexperience, they better watch out with that. She has been a city exec, a county exec, she has been and still is the Govenor of a State, to include the CIC of the state troops and national gaurd. She has an over 80% approval rating and if you compare her to the Obamination her experiece to lead puts the 173 day senator who has spent the whole time running for president to shame. By a huge margin.

Besides, if you are in the north woods fishing for wild brook trout and hunting for the wiley whitetail who would you want to share your campfire with? I will take her any day and if she took office due to a misfortune with McCain I think a woman of her character would be more than up to task.
I would certainly prefer her over the misguided Biden.

add to that the fact that she was a city mayor and that gives her more experience than obama.

From what I've seen (besides the very cute VP that I could watch speak all night) and read she appears to be a great choice. I would rather take a chance on her as President if something happens to McCain then let Obama even try to run this or "change" this country.

Think she ever did a Playboy spread? :hide:

no but she did this.

I dont' know Oz but she is about as far removed both politicaly and geographically from washington as you can get.
I think it would be great for my girls to see someone who thinks on her own, smart, deciseive, an outdoorswoman, a mother of five. I tell you, you would be hard pressed to find a better all around woman than that, even if she was not attractive she would get my vote.

Looks like a sharp cookie, no doubt!!...problem is, we'd have to endure McCain to get to her...good news is, now she's in the nat'l spotlight as being considered for executive branch material...she may not need McCain in a run of her own for the oval office...

If they could figure a way to REVERSE the ticket...Palin for President and McCain for VP, THAT ticket would get my vote...
