Well... I finally have decided to sell my V-20 Step-Lift *:'(
I don't have anytime to use it and it's just sitting there. *This is a beautiful V-20, I'm always searching the net for these just to look at all the different styles but I've never seen one like this. *Here's a quick run-down.
- Fresh water boat located in S.W. Michigan
- 165 HP Mercruiser (250 CID Inline 6 Cyl.) and Alpha 1 Drive
- Porta-Potty
- 2 - 22 gallon gas tanks
- Convertible Top, side curtains, and aft curtain
- Loaded with beautiful teak, just recently refinished
- New Hummingbird fish finder and new marine radio
- 1979 Eagle tandem axle trailer, new tires in 2001
- 5 rod holder that easily remove, you'd never know that they were there when they're off... I will probably even include the 2 Invader Downriggers, also easily removeable.
- Outdrive reconditioned in 2001
- New yoke, bellows, shift cable, gimbal bearings, and U-joints ($1,354.00)

Don't get me wrong, this boat is not perfect. There are some fiberglas chips on the front of the hull from the previous owner, horn doesn't work, it needs new seats (about $450.00), new bottom paint, and the wood along the inside side walls should be re-done (FYI - this would be an easy job for an average carpenter). The integrity of the hull is not affected at all. If you're interested and would like to see more pictures please email me at [email protected] or call me at 616-566-7213

All reasonable offers considered. (Thanks to everyone for your comments... FYI I have set the reserve price on Ebay at $5200.00)

Thanks for your input. My price was based off of a previous inquiry (a few months back) that someone had about the worth of their V-20. A few posts from others replied that it was probably in the $8000 dollar range and mine looked nicer than that one. Maybe I'm wrong... please don't forget everyone, I will accept all reasonable offers. Input would be great. Look for links to pictures from me soon.

It's input like yours I need to help with negotiating the worth of this boat. I just wish I was able to post some pictures. Again, can anyone help me with this? When I click the icon "Insert Image" I get this...

You'll see this boat up on Ebay today. Please look for it, pictures will for sure be there.

you have to post and link to your pictures between the
[img] * *post your link here * * *[img]. *and put / in the second sets of [ ] before the i *

Pictures would help to justify the price. If your boat is in really good shape you may get your price.

yeah $8000 is high but i like the sink set up myself is it raw water feed or do you have a tank in there for it?

There's a tank (I believe 10 gallon) for it. Sink works but I never really used it. Great place to hold things though like wallet, lures, camera, cell phone..., whatever.

I like it 8) I don't think asking $8000 is all that outrageous.

Thanks to everyone for your comments... FYI I have set the reserve price on Ebay at $6200.00. I believe that would be a fair price, I would be satisfied with that and hopefully whoever buys it will feel like they got a good deal.

Thanks again.

Your teak looks great what did you do and use to get it looking that great and is the sink stock or added?

Sink is stock and works great (last time I used it). I don't re-call exactly what I used for the teak, it was a couple years ago. I removed all the hardware, sanded it right down to the wood ending with a fine grit sand paper. Then put multiple coats (4 - 5 on everything) of whatever type of marine varnish it was... lightly sanding and using a tack cloth in between each coat. Turned out great. The swim platform could use a good sanding and another coat though due to the sun exposure.

O.K. I'm giving in. How about $5200.00. I just don't want this to be sitting here through another winter. As much as I love this boat I need to sell it. Any takers?

That is a great price. I paid $5500 for my 76 and she didn't look as good as what you are selling. :-/
