removing paint off of gelcoat

working on a 19 ft key largo with a splatter coat interior, previous owner painted over with topside paint. any body know of a product that removes paint , but does not hurt the gelcoat. i tried a stripper from home depot, but it seemed to cloud the gelcoat. anybody got any suggestions??thanks

You sure the cloud isn't scuff marks from the previous sanding?
Some of the strippers will create an etching effect, harm certain materials and generally looked sanded once stripped and cleaned.
I've been using Strypeeze, water sanding with sponge blocks and buffing with coarse compound.

That's the stuff i'm using, i did a little more and now i think the clouding is the way the interior was originally. it was'nt a shiny gelcoat more of a matte finish

There was a stripper that was made for glass, X something or othr, I saw it year ago but forgot the name? I used it on a old boat I had and it worked good.

Bix tuff job is the stuff i am using, works great
brush it on
wait about 10 15 minutes
hit it with power washer w/ 0 degree wobble nozzle

melts like "budda"
