well boys,
It is the worlds largest billfish tournament again here in Ocean City, MD. There are 396 boats fishing from now till Friday. First Place White Marlin will take home about 1.1 million dollars, that right I said 1.1 million. *:o :o :o
I will be at the scales everynight this week and I will have the camera with me. *;)
If anyone is interested you can watch the weigh-ins live at
www.whitemarlinopen.com
boats come in every half hour starting at 4pm each day. ;D

CY, I was sipping an Orange Crush at Sunset. I got some great boat porn and a few shots that are nearly WET worthy. PIX posted later this morning ;D

I know where the weigh-in is, but not all the action is at Harbor Island ;D I've done the weigh-in thing, I've even weighed in, but now I just enjoy looking at the boats and the scenery ;D
I'll probably try to make it one other evening as well, but it looks like Friday is my only other chance and it may well be fished out by then? Have to wait and see.

not a lot of fish brought in last night, but a big 590 pound Blue Marlin took first place away from the 567 pounder from yesterday ;D
How does Marlin taste? you never see it on a menue any were ::)
I assume they "donate" the catch to the local food pantries ;) ;D

from what i hear.....it tastes like SH%#!
they are almost on the endagered species list so you are not "supposed" to catch and keep them..... too many die in long lines and tuna nets.. :'(
most gentleman fisherman release them ;D

you can't eat Marlin has a HIGH MERCURY content enough to take you out.
but the way it's nice to see a NC boat leading
John Frankos of Virginia Beach, VA took this 83 pound white while fishing aboard the "Rebel" out of Nags Head, NC. The big white vaulted into 1st and is now worth $1,394,480.
Shoot, for $1,394,480, Gentelman goes out the window ;D

well all the blue marlin and most of the white marlin are donated to the food bank, so I guess someone can eat it
Goverments answear to the homeless issue/problem ::)
Give them enough mercury inriched foods, and then there wont be any more Homeless left :o

Um might want to check that they don't eat those, they do make some cheap animal foods out of them, they use the ones from the Big Rock in the NC Marine Fishery's to test their food habits and the water enviroment they were in. They have a hugh warning sign in the NC Marine Fishery's to not eat them they are dangerous to consume.
